Ultimately, I think the best car color will always straddle the line between obnoxious  and subtle. It needs to be unique without being distasteful or garish. 

My ideal color is essentially the color of my car now, but green. BMW had something similar a while back but I can’t find a picture. I am already hopelessly close to that ideal, so I might as well just stop now.

I have had gold, white, black, tan, burgundy, silver, Blue . I have green, brown, purple, silver. It really depends on the car.

Volkswagen Sequoia Green. It’s understated but not beige.

And I’m definitely not biased.

I love the paint on my Corolla, even if it is a massive pain in the ass to keep clean and shows everything.

I’ve always thought a metallic brown in a certain shade looks really nice....I quite like the color the FIAT 500 came in a few years ago!

I owned a car almost exactly like this one. Magnesium Pearl is the color. They only had it for about 3 years if I recall. Making finding replacement parts, or even touch up paint hard to come by. I loved it. I loved hearing people explain what shade it is, “It’s greenish, bluish , gray?”

Laguna green e30, I missed out on one a few years ago. It was a sedan too, most Laguna green cars are convertibles. I still think about that e30.

Cirrusblau is really nice too, also a pretty rare color.

No one can decide what color my car is as well. It is orange, bronze, or red depending on the light.

Ooh, that is what I am talking about! That yellow metallic flake really sets it off and yellow and green is my favorite unlikely color combo.

I really like that, I love dark green, but usually don't like it with metal flake, but that looks good.
